BB-Back to Basics

Our back to basic class is suitable for people who have a lower level of fitness and would prefer to move slowly. This class could cater for those who have injuries, stiffness, or a low range of movement in joints, elderly and or mild disabilities. A simple class that increases fitness, health, and well-being. This class is aided by props, providing comfort and support throughout the class.

BB Yoga classes can be booked for a private or small group bookings, servicing corporate, health and wellbeing, education, and fitness needs.


B-Beginners

Our beginner class is suitable for people that have a lower level of fitness, strength and fixability. These classes are gentle, suitable for those who are new to yoga and /or would like to make physical, emotional, and mental changes within themselves. The class is aided by props, providing comfort and support throughout the class.
B Yoga classes can be booked for a private or small group bookings, servicing corporate, health and wellbeing education, and fitness needs.


BI-Begin- Intermediate class

This class is suitable for those who are merging from beginners’ yoga to Intermediate providing a steppingstone to more yogic practices of, exploring asana deeper, mantra and pranayama which help the students grow Into understanding a deeper connection to the spiritual aspect of yogic teachings.

This requires a general fitness level, with improved range of movement and flexibility, requires and open mind.


I-Intermediate - Vinyasa flow

This class is suitable for those who have an average to high fitness level and have had some pre-exposure to Yoga, and or practice regularly. Additionally, this would suit those that are new to Yoga, who have some flexibility, strength and have an open mind to experience fitness with an introspective experience.  This class offers more developed sequence of vinyasa flow and sequencing of yoga, giving further challenges in strength and flexibility, breath, and mind-body co-ordination.

Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow.


OIA-Open-intermediate to Advanced

This is suitable to high energy and regular practicing yogis, or for those that a high energy and fitness levels. For those that would like to improve in flexibility and strength and are open to new physical and mental challenges. A very active and strong class, giving further challenges for breath and mind- body co-ordination ( vinyasa) Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. In addition, students experience more advance traditional yogic teachings with these classes.


Y-Yin

This class is suitable for those who are experiencing stiffness and tightness in all areas of the body, especially those that have muscular tightness from high physical activity. EG: footballers, athletes, and construction workers. This yoga practice releases deep tension and stress in the muscle tissues and joints, it gives balance to the muscular system and healing to the mind, emotions, and body. A great class to increase flexibility, counterbalance an athletic life, or just unwind from a hectic day.


R- Restorative

This class is suitable for those that prefer a slow-paced class, introspective and grounding for the mind and body. This class is suitable for those who need to restore and not exert too much energy but receive the health benefits from breath work and asana practices. Additionally, this would suit those that are new to yoga and have an open mind to experience one’s increasing body awareness. Deep stretching and breath work, releasing deep tension and increasing flexibility.


YN -Yoga Nidra

This yoga practice is suitable for those who prefer no physical effort but needs a change in state of mind and deep relaxation of the nervous system.  This class is perfect for resetting the mind, restoration, healing, assists in healing mental and emotional disturbances, and gives spiritual rest.  Yoga Nidra is used across the world to assist healing trauma in the mind body, it is considered a trauma informed practice. This practice is a gentle and safe way for people to befriend their bodies for those that have experienced trauma.
